I had a great experience with Shelke Tours and Travels during our recent family trip. We were a group of 10 including kids and elders, and everything was managed very smoothly. The vehicle (Tata Winger) was in excellent condition – clean, well-maintained, and comfortable for long journeys. The seating was spacious enough for our group, and the overall cleanliness was really impressive throughout the trip. A special mention to the driver( Satish Danane )– he was extremely polite, patient, and professional. His driving skills were excellent, especially on ghat roads and long stretches, which made us feel very safe and relaxed. He was also very cooperative with our stops and ensured everyone, especially kids and elders, was comfortable. Overall, a very reliable and hassle-free service. Highly recommended for family trips. Will definitely choose them again in future!Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified that these reviews were published on Shelke Travels's Google Business Profile. Learn more
A 35 seater bus is the size most large groups in Pune actually need. It carries a full wedding baraat, a school class with teachers or an office team of 30 to 35 people in one go, and it is still easy to manage on society roads in Kothrud, the ghat road to Mahabaleshwar and temple parking at Shirdi.
At Shelke Travels we run 35+1 seater buses (35 passenger seats plus the driver) in both AC and Non AC options. Every booking comes with an experienced driver, fuel for the booked kilometres and a bus that is cleaned before it leaves our yard. You share your dates and route, we send a clear quote on call or WhatsApp, and that quote does not change on the day of travel.
Planning a one day picnic to Lonavala, a two day Ashtavinayak darshan or a staff outing to Lavasa? This page has our current rates, route fares, seating details and honest answers to the questions groups ask us every day.

Toll, parking, permits and driver allowance are extra. Planning a temple circuit? Our Pune to Ashtavinayak bus hire guide explains the best temple order and timing, and the Pune to Shirdi bus fare and travel time guide covers darshan timings and road conditions.
These are the trips groups book most with our 35 seater bus. Use them as a starting plan and we will adjust the stops and timing for your group.
1 day | about 150 km
Leave Pune at 7 am, see Bhushi Dam, Tiger Point and Lion Point, have lunch in Lonavala and pick up chikki on the way back. Back in Pune by 8 pm. Best in the monsoon and winter.
1 day or 2 days | about 120 km one way
Cover Mapro Garden, Venna Lake, Arthur’s Seat and Table Land in Panchgani. A 35 seater handles the Pasarni ghat well, and two days lets the group enjoy sunset points without rushing.
2 days | 650 to 700 km
Visit all eight Ganpati temples starting and ending at Moreshwar, Morgaon. Our drivers plan the route around darshan timings and overnight stay near Lenyadri or Ozar.
2 days | about 185 km one way
Day one for Shirdi Sai Baba darshan and evening aarti, day two for Shani Shingnapur on the way back to Pune. A popular plan for family and society groups.
3 days | Diveagar, Harihareshwar, Ganpatipule
Beaches, temples and fresh seafood along the coast. See our 3 day Konkan trip plan from Pune for the full route.
1 day | about 60 km
Pickup from Hinjewadi, Baner or Kharadi in the morning and drop back after the event. Short distance, so the 300 km day minimum applies.
Book the AC bus for trips longer than three hours, summer travel between March and June, wedding guests in formal clothes, senior citizens and corporate clients. The cabin stays cool and quiet on the Mumbai Pune Expressway, and everyone arrives fresh.
On a 300 km day the AC bus costs ₹4,200 more than Non AC. In a full bus that is only about ₹120 extra per person.
The Non AC bus is the budget pick for school and college picnics, short city runs, monsoon trips to Lonavala and Bhimashankar, and winter tours when the weather is already pleasant.
You get the same 35 seats, the same driver and the same care. At ₹40/km it is one of the most economical ways to move a big group out of Pune.
Our 35 seater buses are full size coaches with 2×2 seating, a centre aisle and a front door entry, so elders and kids can get in and out easily. These are real photos of the buses we send for bookings.
Choosing the right size saves money. Too big and you pay for empty seats. Too small and people end up squeezed with bags on their laps. Here is a simple guide we share with every customer:
Not sure which one fits? Tell us your headcount and luggage and we will suggest the right vehicle. You can also see our full fleet on the bus on rent in Pune page.
Bring the baraat from the hall to the venue, move guests between the hotel and the mandap, or take relatives to a village wedding near Satara or Ahilyanagar. One bus keeps everyone on time. Our wedding guest transportation guide has more planning tips.
Offsites at Lavasa, Kamshet or Lonavala, team outings, client visits and staff pickup from Hinjewadi, Kharadi and Magarpatta. We share a proper invoice after the trip.
Educational visits, annual picnics and sports events. A 35 seater carries a full class with two teachers, and our drivers keep a steady, safe speed all the way.
Ashtavinayak, Shirdi, Pandharpur, Jejuri, Bhimashankar, Tuljapur and Kolhapur Mahalaxmi. Our drivers know the darshan timings and where the bus can park.
Mahabaleshwar, Konkan beaches, Goa and the hill stations around Pune. Go through our Maharashtra group tour planning checklist before you lock your dates.
Sports teams, conferences, music events and group pickups from Pune airport or Mumbai airport. The bus waits at the terminal so nobody is left searching for a cab.
We pick up from any address in Pune city, Pimpri Chinchwad and nearby towns. More than one pickup point on the same route is fine, just share the stops while booking so we can plan the timing. Areas we cover every week include:
Call 84840 68364 or send a WhatsApp message with your travel date.
Pickup point, destination, number of days, headcount and AC or Non AC.
We send the full fare with km, toll estimate and driver allowance. No surprises later.
A small advance blocks the bus for your date. The balance is paid as per the quote.
The driver reaches your pickup point on time with a clean bus, ready to go.
During Diwali, the wedding season from November to February and long weekends, 35 seater buses in Pune get booked two to three weeks ahead. Our post on how early to book a vehicle for holidays explains the best time to lock your dates.
We have been moving families, schools and companies around Pune and Maharashtra for more than three decades.
Per km rate, minimum km and every extra are written in your quote. What we quote is what you pay.
Experienced, polite drivers who know the expressway, the ghats and the temple routes well.
Every bus is cleaned inside and checked for tyres, brakes and AC before each trip.
From a Force Urbania to a 50 seater bus. Need two or three vehicles for one event? We arrange all of them.
Someone answers the phone even at 5 am on your trip day, and helps if plans change on the road.
A safe trip is planned before the bus leaves. Here is how we run every 35 seater booking, and what your group should know.
For a full budget plan, read our one day group tour transport and budget checklist.
A 35 seater Non AC bus costs ₹40/km and an AC bus costs ₹54/km. Outstation trips have a minimum of 300 km per day, so a one day trip starts at ₹12,000 (Non AC) and ₹16,200 (AC). The Pune local package of 8 hours and 80 km costs ₹8,000 for Non AC and ₹10,800 for AC.
Yes. The driver and fuel for the booked km are included. Toll, parking, state permit and driver night allowance on multi day trips are extra and are shown in your quote.
Kilometres are counted from your pickup point in Pune and back to Pune. For outstation trips we charge a minimum of 300 km per day, even if you travel less on a day.
A one day Pune to Mahabaleshwar trip with local sightseeing costs about ₹18,400 in the AC bus and ₹13,600 in the Non AC bus, plus toll and parking.
A two day Pune to Shirdi trip costs about ₹32,400 (AC) or ₹24,000 (Non AC). A same day return of around 370 km costs about ₹20,000 (AC) or ₹14,800 (Non AC), but it means 12 or more hours on the road, so most groups prefer two days.
Yes. A one way drop from Pune to Mumbai or Mumbai airport costs ₹22,700 in the AC bus and ₹16,800 in the Non AC bus, because the bus returns to Pune empty.
Each passenger can usually keep one medium bag in the rear dickey and a small bag on the overhead rack. If your group carries extra luggage, tell us while booking so we can plan for it.
Book two to three weeks ahead for weddings, Diwali, Christmas and New Year, and long weekends. On normal days, three to four days of notice is usually enough.
Yes. We run trips to Goa, Karnataka, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. State permit and border tax are charged as per actuals and are added to your quote in advance.
Yes, the AC runs throughout the journey in the AC bus. On a few steep ghat climbs the driver may switch it off for a short while to protect the engine, and turns it back on once the climb is over.
Yes. Tea, meal and washroom stops are included. Tell us the places you want to see so we can plan the route and time properly.
Cancellation charges depend on how close to the trip date you cancel. You can read the full details on our cancellation and refund policy page.
Share your date, route and headcount. We will send a clear quote within minutes on WhatsApp, with no hidden charges.
